Why doesn't honey come in microwaveable plastic containers so I can heat it up when it's too cold to squeeze or when it crystallizes?
The honey I buy comes in plastic that warps when you nuke it. (And probably releases all kinds of nasty chemicals into the honey.)
Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), dioxins, and furans
Buy in glass... a little radiation and a nice pour - using a spoon to defuse, catch, and stir
Honey never ages/spoils
.....
When honey crystallizes you put it in hot water.
Even if it’s in glass why would you nuke it?
And how the fuck can you say you want to squeeze honey at the same time you don’t want it in plastic? Are there no spoons in your house?
Not to mention. That squeezy bear container honey is shit. Buy some artisanal local real human being raised honey. Bees lives matter.
He’s not wrong

Anybody ever try mad honey from Nepal?
If I can't find any that comes in glass I think I'll decant it to glass as I buy it.
Apparently the way most bees are kept may be wrong.

One reason bee colonies die is apparently that when the keeper takes all their honey they starve.
I’m sure there’s a knee doc thread but this works too.
SLC knee ortho recommend please? I hoped this whatever it is would get better but it’s not and it hurts on the daily just walking anymore.
No doc recco for SLC from me, but if you think something is up, go and get an MRI to take with you to the appointment at one of the cheap imaging places. Saves you a step and an extra doctors appointment. I got an MRI for $200 and took it with me to see the orthro.
Cheap imaging places???
I’m not aware of such places. Where?

Garrett Davis at Top Ortho did Liz's TKR.

The one thing to be wary of is that most of these type of places can't do contrast injections, so I'd check with your provider that they won't need that before you get the imaging.
Where online did I see pics of an Olive Green Pivot?
Cooley did my last cut but I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t like his vibe.
Thanks, Barron!

I got mine done at the Taylor Med MRI that Dan linked. They clearly state on their website that they’ll price match, so I found a place in Brigham City that was doing them for $200. I took proof expecting a fight, but I told them and they just said “ok.”
And Dan is right about the contrast, my doc said no big deal.
You might get a better response in the Wasatch thread. I know I did when I broke my tibial plateau at Alta. Thomas Higgins at UofU did my reconstruction.

But, he may be more trauma focused than what you need.
Liz loved Garrett, fwiw.
I got to know one of the knee guys at Peak, Spencer Amundsen, this summer because he reduced my shoulder dislocation at Brianhead. Seems like a solid guy.
If you're looking at having a major procedure done, especially a TKR, definitely talk to a few different people.
