Great stoke in here
edit: post #5000. Dedication.
strawjack, that was sick. Anyone know the hucker?
Here's a few sunny shots from past week, first one with my groms, they improved a lot this season, and a couple of madpatski at Cannon. Can't wait for the next sortie.

TC those are nice shots! Getting a day like that up high is such a treat, hoping to do so before it all turns back into water.
I don't know who filmed or who hucked it. He is lucky as his head snapped back pretty hard. You have to commit to stomping that and exiting at high speeds...backslapping is not an option on corn going that big. damn!
TC...airplane? Thurs was a beautiful day to be on the rock pile.
Cannon looked good...so much snow and closed down. Next Nov-Dec we'll all be jonesing to ski the one or two trails open...kills me to see it close is such good shape. Bottom might be toast but just keep the upper lifts spinning!
I still don't get why average people are so excited to ski in November but not April - May... of course for nutbars like the denizens of this forum, there is no run too early or too late. Viva la snow.
Wow I missed that huck when was there but the first guy that did it had better results than either of the others I've seen video of. What a great day on the rockpile, didn't think I would ever have a better day up there than my first time ever, but found myself summiting in a tshirt once again on Sunday. Untracked runs down the east snowfields were prime even if RG was bumped up like crazy by the time we made it down. Little headwall has some open water and the Sherburne was a shitshow with people flying into crowded sections with sketchy at best coverage. Classic spring day at tux, just wish I had applied more sun screen.

Sounds like its that time of year to skin Cannon then head to Highland for some DH laps!:D
Edit: Awesome stoke everyone this is the season that just won't quit (hopefully). Tuckerman, I followed those people with the sideways ski carry up from Hojos to the bowl, lady almost fell about 10 times trying to get around trees.:nonono2:
Humans are insatiable creatures and are always on to the next thing... That reminds me, time to put some bikes and surfboards up for sale...
that was an awesome tour TC. I definitely overdressed after a week up north ;)
Great touring with you guys! Heading to the BVI'S to sail, scuba, and drink for the next two weekends (my life is hard), but hopefully we can get out again after that. The next week plus looks pretty cold for late april. NOAA says snow every period through Monday for MTW.
Look me up if u head to st john foxy. Be here till Sunday.
Corn Stoke! Fabulous pix all around.

Any of you jokers on the west side that time of day? Can you see yourself (click picture for a larger view)?

awesome shots. would love to see some updates whenever the sky clears round the NEK ;)
Stratton still top-to-bottom ~1,770' vertical laps this afternoon.
I also just noticed that Stratton's uphill policy is now officially published:
http://www.stratton.com/the-mountain...ll-policy.aspx
(Although it's really just more like helpful tips, as pretty much anything and everything is allowed at anytime.)
Nice seeing you guys up there then ...
But only five pictures?
I mean, given the snow conditions and the lighting, and how often you were clicking away, I think more like fifty would be justifiable!
(Then again, now that I've seen your Gaspe TR, that does put the day into perspective, sigh.)
That was a great day to walk around up there Rudeness and Neufox! Enjoy your trip bud, I am sure its going to be killer.
DS- I am not trying to keep up with you and Jon, would be good to see you guys up there again.
Jon- always good running into you up there, uncanny how I vocally anticipated at the top that we were going to randomly see Jon S coming into airplane from MIL, and there you were. it was a special day up there for sure.
Nice work on the west side scenery FromtheNEK!
Harv keeps getting that Platty snow.

I have to thank Harvey for the invite and Laslo for the hospitality Sunday. I'm thinking next year we should rent the place and have a party. Plattekill rocks. Attachment 166456Attachment 166457
