It could work out ok. Their problem is LA county or Caltrans don't plow the road and keep it closed for any little issue. Ideally they would have the rich people helicopter in to ski while the road is closed and then if the road is open have reasonable priced lift tickets for the public. I wonder if they plan to fly in employees or have them all staged in a yurt or something. All a pretty big gamble for a few storms a year at best and possibility of no natural snow some years. I think all the land is USFS, so not like they can build anything.
