I got lucky this summer. These fish are so spooky especially in clear water. Figured I'd better get this while its still 2019.

Is it still 2019? Ticked one off the list and fished the lake Powell tailwater. My boy caught three fish on his first 2 casts. Played pool with some nice Navajo ladies they smoked me. It's a nice place to visit

Important: the deadline to weigh in on the Madison River shitshow is Jan 6th. You do NOT need to be a Montana resident to take the survey, as they point out that currently 75 percent of the anglers on the Madison are non-residents anyway, and they should have a say in this too. It is an interesting survey. They have put some thought into this. Not everyone will be happy. But as they note, angled numbers doubled in the last 10 years and are continuing to grow.
