Another vote for the large. Like Cruiser, if I am feeding that many people I'll fill it with pork butts. Back when I got mine part of the consideration was the availability of eggcessories. Probably not as much of an issue these days as the XL eggs seem to be selling. Lots of creative ways to cram a lot of food on a large. In addition to the plate setter get a good thick pizza stone, I've got the BGE version but any good quality stone will work.
