I got to 50+ pretty fast and stopped counting
However, my GF has an entire closet at her place called "Shoe Town", 300+ easily, all arranged in boxes with a little picture of the shoe taped to the outside.
I cant even image the costs envolved, lots of gucci, chanel, bruno magli, prada and such floating around in there.
I feel like I have a ton of shoes, but in reality I guess I'm not that bad for a chick.
But:
DH riding shoes (SPD)
DH riding shoes (skate shoes)
XC riding shoes
Spin Class riding shoes
old running shoes
good running shoes
sneakers with no support that I just wear to yoga
3 pairs of Diesel sneakers in various colors
snow clogs
hiking shoes
the wool slipper things I wear after skiing
2 pairs of Chaco sandals (one with the toe loop, one without)
Keen sandals
4 pairs of strappy sandals that have 2" or less heels
about 8 pairs of high heel strappy sandals (red, blue, a few black pairs, brown, green...)
a really cute pair of chunky platform mary janes that I bought in Germany
3 pairs of various closed toe heels that I haven't worn in forever
2 pairs of high heeled boots (one red, one brown)
3 pairs of "work shoes" - like closed toe leather shoes that look nice with jeans...
I'm probably forgetting a few, but I'm pretty sure it's <50. Okay, that's ridiculous. But I know it's nothing compared to some women.
Hands down the most whack thing I will read on TGR this week, just beating out the wanna-be dog killer's ex-boyfriend's sister's posts in the doggie adoption thread.Quote:

This is out of concern for my safety, and the safety of others. No one can walk properly when standing in a pool of sweat and I would hate to take someone down with me as I fall and break my ankle.
I will take my toe ring off toward the end of the day if my toes swelland begin to look like Vienna sausages
I will be brutally honest with my girlfriend/sister/coworker when sheasks me i f her fee t are too ugly to wear sandals. Someone has to tell her that her toes are as long as my fingers and no sandal makes creepy feet look good.
I will promise if I wear flip flops that I will ensure that they actually flip and flop, making the correct noise while walking and I will swear NOT to slide or drag my feet while wearing them.
I will promise to go to my local nail salon at least once per season and have a real pedicure (they are about $15 or 20< /B> and worth EVERY penny).
I will promise to throw away any white/off-white sandals that show signs of wear... nothing is tackier than dirty white sandals.
Men, redeem your dignity and delete your posts. DO IT NOW BEFORE THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS HOW MANY MAN-PUMPS YOU HAVE. It would be acceptable to wave about how many tele boots you own, admit to preference for flip-flops or ask in tech talk for the best wax for your smoke jumpers, but for God's sake, man Do not post about your fetish for tasselled loafers or your collection of eddie bauer mocs or ask whether you should tuck your jeans into your uggs.
