M: Thank You.

Um, what exactly do you think socialism is? (hint - the exploitation of the entire population for the good of the government)
Seriously? I mean... really... socialism sounds like a good idea to you? I just have a hard time believing people like that exist.
Bring up an actual argument and maybe a debate can be started, but stupid, uninformative propaganda charts don't serve to help you.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
what part of "don't feed the trolls" doesn't the board understand?
Even trolls gotta eat. Besides, how else can we make sure they haven't started presenting more intelligent arguments. I mean, everytime they comment about how gay and weak "liberals" are, they merely provide additional evidence of their narrow-minded, stereotyped, black-and-white thinking style. I find this to be entertaining at times.
I got the ROOMBA for xmas two years ago. Tried it for a few days and returned it.
Its basically a brush sweeper, so it doesnt really deep clean your carpet to get the sand and dirt out.
Plus, if you have a lot of furniture and shit, the random pattern thing doesn't always get into the nooks and crannies of the room.
And, the little dirt cup and the brush system kept getting clogged by dog hair. Face it, vacuuming aint that hard and actually works pretty well.
If I had hardwood and tile floors and not dog, it might not be a bad idea.
ROOMBA = LAMER THAN THE RUSHBO ALIAS (well, maybe not that lame, but pretty close)
Oh please. That's what this is about you moron. Nobody participating in this crap is interested in any kind of argument or discussion. Everybody's talking and nobody's listening and certainly nobody enters into it with any notion of possibly changing their mind or adopting someone else's view. Jeez, wake up already.
Unfortunatley, I DO have to get to work. I need to earn some flow, so I can pay the government about 33% of my check to fund people who won't (not can't) help themselves.
My mom has the Roomba. It sucks.
You notice how you had to call me a "moron" instead of telling me how I was wrong. That's what people do when they don't have any arguement. And yes I believe that many have an open mind when listening to other people in these debates. Sounds like your too closed-minded to even think that you might be wrong in some way. You remember calling conservatives "narrow-minded and saying they see things "black and white?" Well that's exactly what your hypocritical ass is doing right now. If you don't have an open mind then it's pretty juvenile to put others down for not having an open mind. Maybe you should think before you type.
As annoying as the Rush alias is he is right on 99% of what he says.
Once again, cheap, empty insults.
Rush, how much of the '33% of your check to fund people who won't (not can't) help themselves' do you really think goes to fund social programs. How much goes for the roads you drive on. How much goes to your 'justified' action in Iraq?
That's a good question but it varies from state to state as far as social programs and roads. In Minnesota, we have special taxes that are set aside for roads although they do get into the "general" fund. The Iraq war is a different story as that is totally federal-funded.
I think you can assume that the "rich," and I'm not "rich," pay for the bulk of any program the government takes on as they pay most of the taxes -- granted the "rich" earn more so they should pay more taxes. But what many people don't take into account is that "rich" people often are married to their work and have no life outside work -- many work 12 hour days seven days a week. There is a normally a lot in life one loses in chasing money.
