I've been wanting to check that boat out. It looks like Riot finally got around to making the bigger Disco I've been waiting 5 years for! :cussing:

Should have been in the NRG this weekend and you'd have had your chance. :D
Surf and spin is all I can do right now (I dont think a 2/3 loop combo to faceplant counts as anything) but I love this boat. Everyone else was dunking the stern in the real steep "Ender Wave" when spinning....I wasnt.
I got pushed around in the big water compared to the Superstar I was paddling before, but once I started keeping my weight forward I was good. Except for that damn hole in Middle Keeney, almost did a full unintentional back loop
I may be putting on a roll clinic on the Arkansas at the end of the month.
Riot Turbo 52, LL cross river 125, and recently purchased Fluid Flirt M
I'm borrowing a
Riot disco
dagger redline
off friends
Am definatley getting a fluid flirt medium
what does everyone think of them
And should I get a
liquid logic lil joe
or
liquid logic crossriver
as my other boat as I have to give the disco and redline back??
Cheers
James:eek:
i would say the crossriver.
i currently have an 06 Fun and a cracked Hero.
Would love to get myself a Star/Allstar
I own a large Flirt. It is a good all around river-play for the small amount of playboating I do. Only complaint I have is that the large is REALLY big and is probably the hardest boat to roll I've ever had.
Cross river is too similar to the flirt. If you are only looking at Liquid Logic you should look at a Remix for a rr/creeker. Awesome boat that works in a lot of applications and is incredibly good natured and easy/fun to paddle.
ah didn't read the part about getting a flirt.
yea you don't want the crossriver then.
but you don't want a lil joe.
its a good boat but you probably want something bigger and better suited for creekier stuff.
hmmm, lets see, right now
Plastic/PVC

Thriller Seeker IK
WS Habitat 80
WS Diesel 75

Mmmmmmm.... I love me some kayaks
Jefe Grande- my baby!
Remix 79- awsome boat and great alternative to creek boat
Ronin 59- sucks but so does playboating
Perception Piroette- sweet ride, long and fast!
Pyranha Micro 240- beat down, santa sits in it for christmas lights
Mad River Glen Whitewater Canoe- Hole Bait, anybody want it?
Star Raft (Small)- I don't know the model, rafting sucks.
LL Space cadet -- looking to sell and buy a Rad 185.
Broken Bliss-stick Mystic -- also looking to sell...looking to buy an Everest when I lose my college kayaking club sponsorship (3 months).
Perception Pirouette
Wow, I had forgotten about this thread. Still have the Sub Seven-0, been through a couple of Nomads since then. Current boat count under the deck:
Sub Seven-0
Nomad
Green Boat
Micro 240 (gf)
Emotion touring boat (gf)
Old Town Discovery
zero gravity 54
diesel 65
elaho HV
Jackson Fun
Prijon pure
I'm a boat whore, nothing wrong with that. I'll stick myself in just about anything that I can borrow, demo, or steal at the put-in.
Actually I do own a SCUD, which Im selling. Ordered a Mystic today and should get my Astro 58 for play in the next month or so. Its been fun trying out about 15-20 different boats the last few months, really messes with you
Liquid Logic Remix 59, Jackson Star, Dagger RPM, Dagger Response, Perception Wavehopper, Wavesport T1 (for sale, PM me if interested)
you people are sick, depraved.
Two boat quiver: JK Villain S for anything I won't do in my All Star. This is pared way down from the days when composites were in the mix. No rubber yet, but that'll probably change; this is Idaho after all.
I have many but only use 3 crafts now:
Jefe Grande for creeking
Imagine Rapidfire SUP for river running and surfing
C4 SUP for park and play but I want to get a Chubby stick badly
Once you get an SUP you can pretty much kiss the playboat goodbye. You pretty much want to take the SUP on anything you would playboat. Creeking and SUPing are pretty much the riverman life these days. Playboating was never all that great anyway.
Jackson Fun - Class III/play
WS Diesel 70 - Class IV/V
