Does anyone know who the Icer Air 2006 jump designer was?
Was it the Northstar guy Chris Gunnarson from Snow Park Technologies who has done the Winter X games for the last 10 years? http://www.snowparktech.com/sptasset...n/gunnybio.jpg
Or Jerimiah Pebley from Snow Park Technologies?

Or was it someone who designed the one of these jumps:
* Freestyle.ch jump www.freestyle.ch (28 meters high) held in September at the Landiwiese park in Zurich, Swtizerland
* Air & Style www.air-style.com jump (35 meters high with 7 meter gap - shape designed by pro-riders David Benedek and Sani Alibabic) held in December at the Olympic Stadium in Munich, Germany
* X-Trail Jam www.x-trailjam.net jump (38 meters high) held in December at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan
I don't know any of the facts but I have a hard time believing gunny or Pebley would design a jump that would put athletes at such risk. Those guys job is to give athletes the safest possible tools to progress on.
I don't see how as a skier or rider you could make something to blatantly stupid and allow people to hit it. The lack of a net is unfathomable to me.
Past results are not a guarantee of future performance.
Travis may have won $10,000 and an FJ Cruiser, but he missed something WAY more important IMO............ Our dodgeball teams 1st victory!!:the_finge
:nonono2: HOLD ON !
I AM NOT KAYA !
I am Turx. I am a guy.
Sorry I didn't see this earlier.
Thanks for the PM

Thanks for the results FreeSki . Surprised Pep wasn't in it :frown:
Did anyone else get the free lift ticket when you bought your ticket?
I did, and was pumped when I scratched off a free squaw ticket. I talked all kinds of shit to my friends who got shitty mountains.
Nevertheless, I just checked out the blackout dates.
"E-Ticket valid anyday from resort opening through Dec. 17, 2006 and valid anyday from May 1, 2007 through resort closing. "
FUCKING BRUTAL
:fuckyou: snowbomb :fuckyou:
Not only did I scratch a ticket for Northstar, but it's only good until Dec. 22nd. Such BS. Snowbomb can suck it, they've been ripping people off as long as I can remember with all their damn restricted tickets and passes. :fuckyou: :fuckyou: :fuckyou:
heh - I just redeemed mine and same deal - must use by 12/22. Well - better than nothing! Mine's Sierra, which I'm glad about since I actually do go there a couple of times a year.
I saw a one hour special this past weekend about Icer Air 2006 on FSN (Fox Sports Net) which included interviews with folks from the company (Snow Park Technologies www.snowparktech.com) that built the jump - Jerimiah Pebley (designer) & Mike Bettera (coordinator).
The scaffold jump was 100 feet high with a gap of 50 feet, an inrun of 140 feet and a landing of 160 feet. According to Mike Bettera, this was the highest scaffold jump that Snow Park Technologies had built in the U.S.
Also, in an interview at the end Jonny Moseley commented about how tough the compression was during the inrun transition.
