I'm having a cup of celestial seasonings orange spice tea right now. I can't wait to look at pictures of other people skiing on snow.
God I love Colorado weather it was sixty down in Boulder today and now could snow up to a foot :) with up to 18 inches in the clouds BAAAAAAAABYYYYYYYYY another sick year for CO!!!
It's funny how October snowfall can impact the rest of the season, in the last 50 years 7 out of the 10 driest years came when we got below average snow in October. Looks like this could be just as good as last year!
Yeah, last year early season was uber-sick, but after early Jan it really seemed to be pretty shitty.
That's when you make a break for Snowbird//Alta ;)
I will gladly trade all the snow in the world early season for dumpage when the coverage is there. Just sayin.
This weekend should be good....
mmm... dumpage. :D
Ummm... what???http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=45592
Sure thing. ;)
Who's down for Mambo sickness?
ok Deep Days, so I was a week off. After Jan 30th, things seemed to slow down ALOT (fucking jong).
I know the "it's snowing" is played out, but IT IS NUKING!!!!!
Once again I'm flying out of town for the weekend and it's snowing. You can all thank me for the snow
I see if I can make Friday at Loveland work.
It was puking from before Georgetown and is currently puking in Breck now. Apparently they didn't plow any roads in the town and I'm getting faceshots in my car! Today is gonna be sick!
Hopefully somebody got some snow out of this system. "It never snows in Crested Butte" held true for this storm- big fatty trace to nothing out there this am.

Loveland is reporting 22 new inches. Damn.
apparently 1-70 is closed at georgetown due to falling rocks, check c-dot before ya go.
Its coming down like crazy here in Broomfield... however, because of high winds and visibility, I don't think they're going to open the tram til after 12:00.
Is it still nuking there in CO? You guys are so lucky. I am stuck in a research lab Jonesing about some fresh pow. Go get some for me.

I-70 Georgetown (wet spts)(sno)(slush)(snpk) Restricted CLOSED. WB at Exit 228 Georgetown. Rockslide at Silver Plume.
thankfully the Bert exit is before that.
Luckily, no one was hurt in the rockslide since no one actually lives in Silver Plume. Its one of those western movie sets, right?
funny, but actually a cdot truck was tagged. Hopefully he is alright.
Yeah,
I'll be up early tomorrow to reap the goods of this freakish little dump. Holy Shit I hope this fall keeps puking on us.... and the timing has been perfect for bitch ass weekend warriors like me (well just for another 4 weeks, fuck yeah)
21" in Confier and it's still dumping.

A solid 8-10" and I can't see across the dealership across the street.
I hope this is a down payment on an epic year.
Who is skiing tommorow? Berthoud is looking good, 17" new on the snotel site and it's still nuking up there on the radar. I might be able to get up and ski.
Not any flakes around Salida 'til after 8 this mornin. - Similar to GB's Crested Butte. The big hills were visable after sunrise but up on the divide looked like it was getting some (but not much - yet). Small flakes begining to get larger now down hre in the valley. Cold north wind (uncommon).
