NICE PHOTO! Those are the peaks of the southern half of the Ptarmigan Traverse, well south of the Picket Range. The massive peak on the left in the distance is Dome Peak; the volcano with the cloud ever-so-slightly obscuring it is Glacier Peak. Looks like quite a vantage point, difficult to get anywhere with a view like that in those conditions, whence was it taken?Quote:

Thanks for the correction. I actually have it saved as Ptarmigan on my computer. I snagged that beauty from Sky Sjue's website. I am not sure if he took it or not, but he probably did. He eats the PNW mountains for breakfast on a regular basis and is mentioned in the Fuhrer Finger thread. I think he took it from Mt. Formidable.Quote:
