Are they even running the Funi? I think you have to take the cable car to high camp.Quote:

The cable car is nightmare.
I bet they run Siberia if the race camps are going.

thanks for that info, was totally unaware of that, do you have to sign up early for the downhill, or is it just a show up and race thing. hopefully i'll see everyone in the morning.
I think you sign up on the sundeck sometime before the race (I don't know if they'll be out there all day, or just around lunch time). You have to sign a waiver, but there's no cost. The pass will be hanging on a bamboo pole somewhere near the bottom. One race for Snowboards, one for Skiers. I don't know if we all start together. I kind of hope SB start separate. I don't need to get rear-ended by some skier who got a slow start. I'm faster than probably 90% of the skiers on the mountain normally, but I suspect I'll be slower than 90% of the skiers who enter this crazy race. Skis are just that much faster than snowboards, whether we like it or not.
Who wants to let 2 18yr old college boys crash at their place on sat night so we can enter the race at alpine? We were planning on only coming up for sunday, but I feel the need, the need to ski. Help me out please! Beer money can be provided if necessary. We have a car and everything, we are clean and don't smell like ass!
Thanks for the help in advance,
