A girl on our floor has been secretly raising a black lab puppy for a month now, everyone but the RA knows, best thing ever for meeting chicks, just borrow the puppy for an afternoon, chill on the grass reading a book and the chicks will flock to you, but on a more serious note, Matt, that pic of shelby makes me miss her so friggin much!

:eek: Ah crap Zippy ate my last 2 pairs of goggles yesterday! Doggone it! Oh well, my fault but I thought she was over that. Only left her alone for probably 5 minutes. Door to my ski gear accidentally left open. To date she has ate 4 pair of goggles!

Warthog: Boston Terriers, like Jack Russels, don't realize they're little, I think. This is why those two breeds are the only small dogs I'd ever consider owning.
Yeah, although it sucks when they start shit with dogs 8 times their size. I had to pull Sadie's head out of a Boxer's mouth a coupla months ago. She got a sweet neck shot in to start the whole thing. Pretty traumatizing to see your dog's head inside another dog's mouth.Quote:

Need to get some updated pics of my derg in here! Took him to the vet today for some booster shots. Edgar is up to 26.3 lbs! I know I'm not dealing with a horse here, but he's growin fast! Neat to see and experience. I really need to get him to like car rides though...

Either a german shepherd, border collie, or a lab. Info on the gsd and border collie would be appreciated.

Wire Haired Pointing Griffon. They look a lot like a wired haired german but it is a seperate breed.

Not to hijack this thread, but I once saw a link to someone's vid of his dog's mysterious travels. The dog owner lived on or near some open land, with mixed trees and heavy brush, and his dog disappeared into the trees and brush for hours at a time, and then came back all panting and exhausted. The owner never knew where the dog went, what paths or trails or whatever.
So the guy rigged up a small cam (new use for a helmet cam in the off season?) to the dog and captured the vid and posted it. It was very cool, you could see a dogs eye view of running along a trail, ducking under a fallen tree, barking at some birds, growling at a few squirrels. It would be great to add to this thread.
Anyone ever seen that, can't recall if it was posted on here or somewhere else?

Those are great looking Griffs and awesome shot in the snow.
They sure are a shaggy pair, how much stripping do you do? One of the reasons to go with this breed is they are supposedly low shedding but I'm not sure I'm believing that. Do yours shed much or can you control it with stripping/brushing?
It doesn't make a difference at this point, we're commited in all ways to the dog but still curious.

I had a german-wired hair pointer, Otis, when I was young. As soon as my mom got pregnant with my little sis, he was gone. He was a cool dog, but high strung. He occasionally drug logs out of the fireplace (not when they were on fire).
