Unless you can find one used, it's a moot point, eh? I don't have anymore so someone else will have to answer that question. The SkiMan/Toko/Swix/Maplus/etc ProSharps are indexed at each degree, but can be 'set' to anything, BUT it feels like it could move.

SVST quit making 0.5° side beveler shims because there wasn't much demand. And FTR, I spent quite a bit of time with an SVST Pro bevel meter and also a digital angle finder and a true bar measuring along edges. There can easily be a (+/-) 0.5° variation along an edge and I think you might be chasing shadows at some point. Especially if they are soft snow skis:

Need a bit more than a full degree- a piece of electrical tape or similar on the guide or tuning tool of choice will get you a bit less than a full degree usually.

Also what works great for brake holders are the rubber wrist bands that were popular for some time. Think of LiveStrong types - for a bit I'd go to trade shows and the companies would have the similar made stretch bands as swag give aways and I'd stick a few in my tuning backpack instead of doubling up on regular rubber bands. Also years ago a book store that also sold music and CD's had bands that would be used to hold 2 CD's together as part of a double or buy one get one promotions. But those days are probably long gone.

yes, the ski visions tool adjusts "infinitely".

+1,000 use stones way way more than a file. If you're not racing, file is more for setting bevel, and it's not at all for deburring.
Gummy stone is plenty for detuning unless maybe you're sliding a lot of rails.
