Ankle pocket/instep/heel are tighter on the RS130 MV vs My Shadow LV

Considering the shadow for my next boot. Can anyone compare it to the Tecnica Mach 1? Specifically fit if you have a/b tested.
Awesome thank you. Do you think the Shadow LV is more comparable to the Mach MV? I've heard the shadow has better heel hold than the Mach in both LV/MV, which I need.
Also, I've always skied the Mach in 130 flex but found a screaming deal on the 120's. On warm days I blow right through the flex so I want something stiffer, am I barking up the wrong tree with a Shadow 130?
Well respected bootfitter suggested the Shadow to me while fitting my touring boots last year, but I honestly can't remember if she told me LV or MV.
How big are you?
I’m 6’1 and about 220 to 230 pounds depending on the week. My issue with the shadow is the end step was a touch high and I was able to over leverage the boot in the 130. The shadow also gets quite soft when it warms up.
Thus I swapped to the RS 130 due to its lower end step and honestly more low volume heel and ankle. The flex also feels quite a bit more substantial over the shadow which is what I needed as well.

I think you’d be fine in the shadow 130 then. Definitely go try them on at a shop and see what’s better on the instep.

Finally pulled off the band-aid and retired my RX130s. Only 1 day on the Lange Shadows, and I have the LV versions, BUT DAMN! I was loving these boots. I felt connected to the ski like I've never been before. My RX130s were pretty clapped out, but so far I'm stoked.
As for fit, I usually have to get a big toe punch and some room around my sixth toe in RX130s. I would guess that I will still need the big toe punch but the room around my sixth toe felt good, and other than the crappy footbed, I think these boots feel pretty damn good out of the box. Have a good amount of lift served ski days lined up over the holidays to properly break em in.
