That’s fucked up.
But there’s a crime there. Aiding and abetting child rape. Tampering with evidence. Interfering with a criminal investigation. Accessory to a crime. Etc.
My point which most don’t understand is that making it a crime to use mean words is insane. As is making it a crime to not open the door to your house for a relative to come inside. It’s your house.
then you should move to NSW Australia to fight the adoption of this horrible law... be a man of action!
Like most things that are nuanced, you miss the point. Saying something mean won’t be a crime by itself, saying something mean with intent to control and intimidate would be, this would likely have to be an ongoing pattern of behavior. Does that make sense to you? There are already laws on the books for this in most jurisdictions in the US.
What’s happened here is that you’ve answered the dog whistle of click bait journalism, it works very well on people like you.

No one disagrees with free speech and personal property rights being valuable personal rights.
But there is a line where someone uses those as cover for domestic/psychological abuse, and you seem to have taken the position that criminalizing such behavior is an attack on normal good behavior, which it isn’t.
So, ^^^ that is what most don’t understand.
It looks like you see yourself squarely in the crosshairs of this sort of behavior and think it’s innocent personal freedom being unfairly squashed. Please feel free to disabuse us of this understanding of what you are saying in this thread.
Ok. You’re right. Let’s charge President Biden with coercive control. Or kidnapping for not letting someone into your house? That was an insanely stupid comment.
We need to charge Hunter as well. Not acknowledging your baby momma is tragic.
