Boom! Nice work guys.
Those look great. I'm curious to hear about transition to ski mode--seems like it could be more difficult without the slop in the stock config.

That was quick--thanks!

That retrofit skis fuq’n great!! Will post up long term review on ExoticSkis at some point, but hawt damn.
Apparently USPS decided to send mine all the way across the US to Mass only now to have them come back west to me in BC, wtf...
Seeing in the 23/24 gear rumors thread that the Lupo is going to be replaced with the Cabrio Free with a non removable tongue has me considering trying to get a new Lupo for next season. Does the Lupo Pro have the carbon cuff? What are carbon Lupo owners using to shim their Cascade walkmodes?

^Lupo Pro HD does not have hat carbon cuff. I’d stay clear of that cuff btw- the washers at the pivots wear silly quick.
You're gunna die
My HD's have some sort of Fiber cuff, it says 'fiber charged' on them.
Is that different to the Carbon cuffs?

Cascade makes a shim for the walk modes on the carbon cuff factories

Shim in addition to mechanism being sold. Only applies to carbon cuff boots.
Got my levers in today for my Pro HDs and it appears the channel for the lever on the cuff it a bit too deep... bummer. Looks like I'm gonna have to shim them out, anyone have any ideas on how to make a shim so I do.t have to order and wait for them? I was thinking some washers, is this a bad idea?

Alright so this is what I've come up with, cut up old card, measures to pretty much 2mm doubled up and now the lever works perfect! Just got to pick up some longer screws. Any reason that this is a bad idea? Am I gonna die?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...f44175afaa.jpg

I had the same issue with my green Lupo Pro HD. I considered shimming them out but decided to take a small amount of material off the cuff with round files right at the axle / pivot point. Didn't take much to clearance and works well now.
@iriponsnow did you have to shim or modify your pro HDs?

Irips feet are wicked tiny ( had to have Dalbello special order a 24 for me.....) so I'd not generalize much from my experiences.
I’m slow at baseline. What exactly is the issue?
This exactly. After shimming about 2mm the clearance between the lever pivot and the cuff is just enough not to rubhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2f105bc528.jpg

Even on my 130 Cs I had to take a Dremel to the cuff. A very small amount of material removed and they fit perfectly

It must be a size issue. Below is my non-shimmed 24/25 cuff Lupo HD

Joey’s getting his today, so we should have a verdict on the 26/27 cuff shortly.
