Its more jammy and folky than straight up bluegrass as we have added a piano. Burle, our bass player writes a lot of tunes for Yonder Mountain String Band and their last studio album featured all tunes by him. The Wayword Sons is a relatively new band and our new album ought to be out sometime this summer.

Rusty...I think maybe you meant the Biscut Burners. They are excellent. I saw them up at Otis this past summer. New girl in front. The original hot chick in front was Shannon Whitworth. Her new solo album is pretty good. Plus she's hot. I have also recently seen and enjoyed the Bruce Hornsby / Ricky Skaggs album. Kentucky Thunder is an absolutely smoking band, Cody kilbly is a STUD!! But I digress...
As per our original request, start with the aforementioned old men and work your way up to YSMB.

I also have been listening to the XM Bluegrass station when I am going fishing. Check it out. They played some McPeak Brothers yesterday....very nice vocals.

Bumping this with Billy String gaining so much traction and bringing people into Bluegrass.
