Yes, this is the style of this party. And every other day, too.
For the new: Lot 4 is ski-in/ski-out. We will occupy the choicest spot in the lot depending on the plowsculpting at the time.
Paging GaryFromTerrace
My name is Matt, and I'm an Alpentalic.
Will pay for parking spot if lot 3 is full!
Wife says she'll make candy.

What’s the drive like from Seattle? Any sketchiness? What are the chances I can make it up there with a cheap rental?
Looking at flights has me pretty optimistic I can make this work
Missing again as I will be out of town. Hopefully the next one.

Maybe others feel differently but seems 70-80% of the time the pass conditions are manageable in a meager ride with fwd. The ski area is about 50 mins without traffic though there’s usually traffic in the city/airport area. I’d figure 1 1/2 hours from SeaTac.
For out of staters just know WSDOT is pretty happy to throw a ‘chains required except AWD’ on I-90 with suggestion of snow a’la California due to the surplus of California’s driving their Priui over the pass and sliding under semis.
I’d pay extra or burn an upgrade to rent an AWD vic. Tires will obviously still suck though.
Good advice. Select awd for Ullr vibes
Noncommittal as always!
Finally, a thread worth reading that will materialize in the real world = I'm in.
Will put spookeaster up at the Knuckle Dragger Inn again. Other, like-minded sideways sliders welcome, too

You ever actually sat under that monstrous thing? Does it play music or dispense beer or do anything cool?
Hey maybe this is the year to send all the out-o-towner Ikonoclasts down to Dweebus on the Sabbath day, to repent to the high priest atop the Silver King bootpack for their Alpentalism.
I don't know. The day that comes after Saturday, where we blare nothing but the first three Black Sabbath albums while resting on the gondola
I love you, Sweetleaf.
Excellent pic stoke, SVS/Norse.
Nope, it's rare that I sit on that patio, ever, so I don't know.
I can point towards the mediocrity there, should there be any interest.Quote:

Will most likely be there pretending to know how to ski again.
Last year was a blast.

Where is Flowing?!
I think Robert Hunter said it best when he penned the line "I don't know, don't really care, let there be songs to fill the air."
Another 5’ of fresh in the forecast?
Just before this pic was taken some funny shit happened. Just to the right of this shot, fellas had been taking a leak in the corner away from folks and behind the hudge snowbank.
So there I was, doing my business all casual like and as I happen to look up, enjoying the view, 2 young ladies appear from behind the berm.
Like 10 years old.
They look at me, I look at them and they retreat promptly.
Facking really? Damn, that was NOT ideal.
From behind me I hear muffled laughter as 2 mags witnessed it all and were fully entertained, We all laughed so hard and I was likely turning red in the face from the surprise, hilarity and a little embarrassment. Oh the good memories!!!
I'll stop by for atleast 1 day. I'll have 5 days on the ikon so who knows, maybe for the whole thing
