I've got a TFO 8ft 3wt and have fun pretty much anywhere I go. Not a big water rod of course, but gets the job done in California.(Besides steelheading - not a freaking chance)

I have a Orivis Clearwater 5wt rod and reel, and it has served me well as I try to get into fly fishing. Good luck on your search.
