I saw the title of this thread and immediately thought "Well Black Sabbath, duh!"

Some famous metal guitarist I heard on the Ozzy's Boneyard channel on serius the other day said that Tony Iommi had already played all the good riffs and that every metal guitar player since has just been covering him. I found that interesting.
