The NPAC is asleep right now. Nada. So far looks like a dry start to autumn.
Crappy Fall = Killer winter? For every happy there's a sad?? Not sure about this whole karma thing.
Skied new snow on this day a year ago with somethingclever and the season did not really get going full on till March.
See there is a possibility for moisture 10 days out now, be nice to reset the dirt at least.

My kid, who's in the Air Force, heard a rumor that SVAM might offer a nearly free military pass for SVAM only, as it has in the past--ie no skiing at other IKON resorts. Does anyone have any definitive information on this? (There is a military IKON pass which is roughly 10 times the cost of the old military passes.)

Used to be you could get a free pass from SV/AM. Back when I was still in you just had to go to the ticket counter with your ID and you were set. So I guess it is now infinitely more expensive!

I would prefer that this thread start with the first snow fall, however it is worth pointing out that this thread always starts too soon and has been followed by epic years and miserable years both.
