Interesting. I'd probably put the Kingpins on the skinnys snd Vipecs on the Q's.

I'm pretty sure those are the ones I sold to suprechicken. Sad that they passed through two mags hands before getting drilled. I sold them because I really wanted the 179 in a stiffer flex, and I was tired of drilling skis that I already knew weren't quite right.
They definitely deserve a SSL 2.0 or ATK SLR Release or a sexy little binding like that. I really hope you put a lot of days on them and treat them right!
Sad or incredible? Swiss cheese is the national food around here.
That said, IMO NWSKIER is too slim for those 186's and should pass them on unmolested.
Yes sir. Got them delivered from supre, via shroom, at BBI last year. I told myself I wasn't going to mount them until I killed my yetis, but my yetis won't die, so I'm going to have to mount them. Definitely thinking I'm going to go with the SSL 2.0. Haven't decided if I'm putting those on plates yet or not. Also, considering ions again. I like those bindings and they just plain work for me. Either way, I intend to take good care of them.
Fat chance. I eat pow tours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on those. Lhasa pows are the shit!
I fit pretty well in a 27.5 TLT6, with both stock liners and size 27 MV Pro Tours. My 26.5 MTN Labs were huge with the stock liners, were good except for the cavernous heel pocket with the same MV Pro Tours, and are fit really well once I put ankle wrap pads on the liners. Basically these: http://www.tognar.com/modified-ankle-wrap-pads-pair/
If you've tried Maestrale RSs and they crush your instep, I would recommend MTN Labs.

Note that I have size 27.5 TLT6s, size 26.5 MTN Labs, and the size 27, medium volume (MV) Pro Tour works in both.

Ok I'll play and add pictures in when I get home.
Skis:
187 Blizzard Kabookie - bindings tbd
For when I need to keep up with fast skinners. Theses are OG Bonafides with out the metal. Any binding recommendation from mags would be appreciated. I'd like these to double as corn/volcano skis.
193 Blizzard Scouts with Kingpin 13s
Every day winter touring skis. I might try to replace these with 192 Zero G 108s again, but I tried that and came back to these. Scouts are metal less OG Cochise.
193 Volkl Shiros with Kingpin 13s
Powder touring/highway hiking skis. I probably should put a lighter binding on them but I like being able to move the Kingpin heel for either boot.
I have a pair of +10mm 194 Praxis Freerides coming that will get CAST plates, but those will for sidecountry, and primarily for the safety factor of skinning up to someone if I'm below them when they fall.
Boots -
26.5 Lange XT Freetour 130s with high volume Intuition Pro Tours (replacements for the RS 140 when they die)
26.5 Atomic Backland Carbons with low volume Intuition Pro Tours - such a nice boot just too short for my legs and don't work with Kingpins
26.5 Lange RS 140 with CAST toes - aka the perfect boot for everything and if you don't agree with me you are wrong
27.5 TLT6Ps that will get a high volume Intuition liner, either power wrap or Pro tour. I had a pair of 26.5s and loved them, but couldn't wear them below 10 degrees. I'm going to try the shell size bigger with the thick Intuition liner and see if they work.

Cham 97's with Axls. Don't get out much.
Carbon Convert with Vipecs. Really versatile. The Vipecs extend the fun range from multi day tours to lift serve.
Vector BC with Vipecs. Super fun. Still trustworthy in dicey situations.
The other three should go into the "Show us your chic skis" thread. That quiver of three does it pretty well for me.
187 Praxis Protest w/ Beast holes
187 GPO w/ Beast holes
190 Down Countdown 114 (1870g) w/ holes for ATK Raider 14
188 Salomon QST 106 w/ Kingpin
181 Down 104L w/ ATK Raider 14
178 Zero G 85 w/ ATK RT Race
161 Dynafit DNA w/ some light bindings in the future (found in a dumpster and they seem to be ok)
Salomon MTN Lab
Arcteryx Procline Carbon
I need to replace my quiver of one.
187 4FRNT Hoji w/Vipec Black (Everyday winter ski)
186 4FRNT EHP w/Vertical FT12 (1-2x/winter ski that I'll never sell)
177 Salomon MTN Explore w/Speed Radical (spring ski)
202 DPS Lotus 138 Pure w/Vipec Black (Fuck it, bringing these to AK and need to get used to them ski)
Tecnica ZeroG Guide Pro (everyday boot)
Scarpa F1 (big day boot)
I totally get the fun in owning a ton of skis, but these two setups are honestly all I need for just about everything.
(1) Hard snow/super-long days: 185cm Blizzard ZeroG 95s with Dynafit Radicals

(2) Soft snow: 185cm G3 Synapse 109s with Dynafit Radical toes and Plum Guide heels

(3) Emeritus setup: 190cm Praxis Backcountries with Guides

Similarly, I'm pretty set with my Maestrale RSs. I've been tempted to pickup lighter boots for long days (e.g. TLTs), but I think I'd probably defer to the Maestrales (especially if I pick up the most recent versions) more often than not.
https://d1sdegrcg1ah5f.cloudfront.ne...__enlarged.jpg
Echo this sentiment, but with slightly different sticks.
186 Lhasa Pows w/ Speed radicals on sollyfits for pow days.
182 Praxis Yetis w/ Radicals for everything else.
TLT5s have been my go to boot. Recently picked up the Cochise for a song (i.e. way less than the brand new intuition PWs in them are worth). Will try them but they are aggressively sized for touring.

My touring quiver:
186 EHP
Vertical FT 12
Freetour 130
This thread is called show us your touring quiver, not tell us about it. All these posts without pictures are useless
Ha, nobody ever said "TELL us about yer tits", now did they?**
So far, I think AKB wins for best presentation, BFD for most economical, mbillie for most stickers, MTT for most yellow (!), smoothop for most burl, and doebedoe for most OCD/best bench/glum-dog.
**or other preferred body part
Pretty sure I typically ask for pictures of tits. You can feel free to put a caption with the photo, but post a goddamn photo
They have letters in Penthouse???
Hell yes AKB gets best presentation!

My ski partner just retrieved those from the avie I was in last winter. I was hoping they would be usable. Sent a letter to Dynafit to inquire about warranty. That is a long shot. I really enjoyed that ski. Bought a pair of the Hannibals for that $350 STP deal thinking the Dynafits might of been damaged.
Hey guys,
Do you know how I could get in contact with a marker rep? I am a ski instructor at a small resort back east when I go home from school (in Utah). We are not PSIA but a lot of companies still offer a discount because I’ve been instructing for 5 years (full winters before going west for school)
Well, "Tell us about that amazing three-way you had with Ms. Florida and her mom" is more akin to "tell us about the time you got 7,000 vertical feet in blower pow in the Mallory Couloir, stopped mid-line to piss (naked) ((GNAR pts)), then finished it off with 100 foot frontie whilst pounding a PBR" than "tell me what dynafits you have on yer Volkers".
That is, unless Penthouse letters has devolved into multi-page descriptions of the size, shape, firmness, direction, orientation, and suspension of one's mammalian protuberances.
Rontele told me the reps only give out the red ones.

Left to Right
194 Praxis Freerides +10mm CAST plates for P18s
Sidecountry touring - mounted for Lange RS 140
193 Volkl Shiro Marker Kingpin 13
187 Blizzard Kabookie Marker Kingpin 13
Aka the non-metal OG Bonafides
Both the Shiros and Kabookie are mounted at +1 for 297 bsl for the TLT6P, both Kingpin heels can be moved back to fit the Lange XT Freetours
I've tried the super light game with skis and bindings, and I couldn't get comfortable on them. I look for stability and trust with touring skis instead of being super light. I'm fine taking a 2-4 pound penalty leaving the parking lot, because I know I'll be fine no matter where we go.
Attachment 214594
Dynafit TLT6P size 27 with low volume Intuition ProTour liners, waiting on the stiff thick tongue to come in, I have really thin ankles
Lange XT Freetour 130s size 26.5 with high volume Intuition ProTour liners. Once I replaced the stock liner, these skied like a dream
Lange RS140 size 26.5 with CAST toes. Needless to say, I don't tour in these often. Sometimes I'm a little overly safety conscious and my sidecountry skis have CAST plates, and I carry the CAST toes and skis on pow days I case I need to get up hill to a buddy.
