Cool perk of the premiere is being able to talk to the athuletes and filmmakers. They poured everything they had into this for 2 seasons.

That's the moment that made all the headaches of producing a film worth it. I just soaked it in. Absolutely amazing feeling the collective energy of inspiring hundreds of people at once. I had a full nights sleep last night for the first time in months after nursing a good hangover yesterday. Drinks were earned! Grateful and appreciative of the fans.
Athletes, crowd, skiers I respect were blown away by the skiing. I hope Kye gets the recognition he deserves out of this. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't get skier of the year at various awards shows.
Easily the best big mountain I've ever seen. There are so many boss lines which would regularly be the banger at the end of other segments.
I dug the lack of talking and the soundtrack was good. The drone shot looking up at the big face during the Tantalus segment is rad, it does the grade justice. Good work Atrain and Nic!

Saw it last night.
Some of those lines are mind blowing.
The tantalus drone footage.
Ryland absolutely crushed it for the lone snowboarder.
Could watch all the outtakes of the Chatter Creek section, every single line was a closer. The Pemby Penetrator absolutely crushed that.
The technicality in some of the spine skiing is out of this world, almost too much to grasp. What was the quote, Overwhelmed but ultimately inspired, couldn't sum it up better.
Ok, need to go see this.

Just watched. OH MY GOD!!!! That was nuts. Top notch skiing and cinematography. I doubt any other movie will be this good this year. Great job guys, that made my day. If this was back in the days of VHS I would have worn this one out. Kye is incredible.

1 thing I really liked was the drone usage wasn't just the follow and get further away, they were great at adding some context.
Bought Numinous and just finished watching it. A++ for Atrain! It was the best. Love the sound of skis in snow.
Just watched it and Amazing!!! What I feel a ski movie should be. Everything we wanted and nothing we didn't. Nice to see some film crews still make movies for real skiers and not just cash grabbing from gapers *cough* Warren Miller *cough cough*
Loved the different shots and perspective/angles used!!
I bought it yesterday and only managed to watch the first 15 minutes or so.
The first skiing segment is awesome. Just a bunch of friends ripping up the mountain. What stuck out to me was the subtle mixing of the skiers sound with the music. PERFECTLY done.
Stoked to watch the rest.

I'm back from my shoot in remote Northern BC so will be able to upload Out of the Shadows shortly for people who want that as now I have more than satellite internet again.
Numinous was nominated for Best Film. Best Cinematography. Best Big Mountain Film and Best Male Freeride for Kye at If3 this year. Always nice to get recognition from the industry against the big boys who have far bigger budgets then we do. Hopefully we bring home some hardware!
