Furgetabout powder days. There's so many frustrated instructors and locals and a few Texans that can ski, it's gone in 90 minutes.
There is some good food in town. And my massage therapist works out of main st.. Unfortunately.
It's $4 unless you come during Gaper Weekend. And most ski Imperial Bowl thankfully.
Last year they were charging 12 bucks almost all of March. You know, spring break.
Huh.... meanwhile in Aspen it's pretty quiet, pretty much lapping right onto the chair. Sound rough over there.
Yup and even fewer people are able to make the traverse out to to peak 7 bowl and beyond. Most everyone who doesn't ski imperial bowl just goes right down the center of whales tale and through vertigoQuote:

I just drove across the country to Taos, Telluride, Southern Utah, SLC, Jackson, and down Wyoming to Summit, and, I gotta tell you, ain't nothin' more like the "shithole" of New Jersey that I grew up in than SLC. Always has been the great tragedy of skiing that those great mountains and that awesome snow (except in April) is right next to that. But the Mexican is killer. Compared to New Jersey.
Hang on though, did anyone ever say Summit County was good for resort skiing?

The springtime slush and sun was great today. Love skiing breck on a Saturday with no lines.
Ft Collins getting more precip than Summit Co. tonite. They need it down there? Summit gets the scraps that rolled across the Sierra.
Breck - Coverage holding on off Imperial and t-bar. Small rocks showing in places so bring ur appro skis. Today Peak 6, Peak 8 & Peak 10 were closed. Some people skinning up. Not sure if they will re-open Sat/Sun for the closing.
Abasin - Tuesday was a great spring skiing day. The type of fun even if there is no pow. Weds; bumps and pistes froze overnite leaving them hard as sheet metal. Viz was terrible, then good for 5 minutes, then another fog bank rolled in to kill it. The 1-2" that fell barely helped to soften anything.
Lot of rocks showing below the traverse. Need to see 6 or more b4 i hit it again. Spring blast needed {IM=Fingers-crossed}
Radar looks like summit should be getting hit soon tonight ?
AM found 2 -3 inches of glommy snow ~ Vista Haus.
