Edit: oh I get it. Nah, they aren't really shot up at all. They're basically in town.
The problem is that you live in a shitty neighborhood.
What neighborhood? I think you mean I live "within day-trip range of Denver".
That's the part that just kills me. All these retards are literally 15 minutes away from not having any impact on anyone. But they can't be bothered, and many will indignantly argue that making a nuisance and destroying shit is their right and it's everyone else's responsibility to avoid them if they don't like it. Don't want to get shot? Well then, don't get in the way of my bullets!
We were fishing down in the creek in that little Valley behind the log there and came out to find this.
My wife said: Well isn't that lovely.

Just had someone drive by and shoot at the private property sign at the bottom of my driveway. Currently hanging out hoping they come back.
It was Jer. He could have off'd you if he wanted to. Dude is a pretty good shot from what I hear.
No such luck. Fucking cowards. You want to shoot at my house, come on up here. No one's going to call the cops.
Here's a donation left this holiday weekend by one of Colorado's fine outdoor enthusiasts... somewhat nicer than the unbagged pile of garbage left a half mile further down the trail which, in case anyone were inclined to think that only poor rednecks engage in this sort of bullshit, was entirely comprised of organic yogurt containers and prepared fruit trays from whole foods.
This sort of thing should be punishable by on the spot execution. The world doesn't need any more people who behave this way.
Move to a less shitty neighborhood.
Eh...that's nothing. What about when your looped and certifiable neighbors light quarters sticks of dynamite in 55 gal drums for Fourth of July? And I swear one had to be a half stick. Crazed gun-toting nutjobs aren't only in Colorado
Turns out a guy got shot in the head and died while sitting in a camp chair this weekend down at Pikes.

WTF?
That's nothing. For the past 2 years straight little girls have gotten killed in the shittier parts of Atlanta (one in a church) from random, "celebratory" 4th of July gunfire. Apparently once you go south of I-20 they don't sell fireworks so everyone just shoots their guns into the night sky.
Sad.
