My dad collected antique clocks. At one point every room had at least two. All ticking away every moment of your life.
I on the other hand have zero clocks with the exception of those that are attached to appliances.
Life passes too quickly as it is without the constant reminder of a mechanical hourglass.
That's a nice romantic thought but even I, a retired person who runs a farm, need to know what time it is if I'm to interact with other people and businesses. The key is to let it be on your schedule.
Love the sound of quality old clocks ticking. My great uncle collected them too - his house was a symphony of ticks and tocks.
X2 I would prefer having longer light in the afternoon/evening. I can drive to work in the morning in the dark just fine. Having the extra hour of daylight after work is gold. I can ride/run/golf in the summer and would lose that, to a large extent, if we shifted everything back to 'standard time' year round. If a change is made, save the light for times when we can use it the most, later in the day.
It's that time to change time again.
Hello darkness my old friend.
I'm seriously thinking about boycotting this shit. I just have to remember, any appointments I have are on Atlantic Ocean Time. If I can do that I can just carry on as is.
yeah, let's not set the clocks back, so we can listen to all the whiners whine even louder when they realize that means 10:30 openings on pow mornings.
For the second year in a row, completely by chance, I'm spending the end of daylight saving time paragliding in the desert. It doesn't matter what the clock says, I wake up at sunrise to launch when the wind starts blowing in.
If this year is anything like last year, I'll be confused when I get home and see those clocks.
The average utard has zero concept of this. But it’d be a huge problem for the ski industry.

fyi, DST was created by a bug guy, entomologist; so he could have more daylight to study bugs after work and was eventually accepted; so those who like it are following a bug guy.
tonight denver and san fran will have the same time for an hour, nice example of the farce of DST.

I've got one digital clock that I can't figure out how to change. You shouldn't need the owner's manual to set a goddamn clock. They figured out in the 14th century.
I fucking love this day. Slept in, went straight from bed to the couch and snuggled with the kiddo for a while watching a show, then nursed a cup of coffee, then made a dank breakfast, cleaned up, and it's still barely 9 am.
neither of my satellite controled watches changed, maybe the satelite missed it
It's that time again.
I used to be with a women a proffesional who never changed clocks becuz she knew if the clock she was lookng at was wrong and so would just self adjust instead of changing the clock A buddy of mine used a some kind of professional i think an accountant who never bought a new calender she just moved the days around
Oh this again, thanks for the reminder.
Love this weekend
Now is our chance BC. Excuse to not change was in part to keep in lockstep with the western states keeping our economies aligned. Well, that all for shit now anyway, so let’s just not change this Sunday. Let take this opportunity to flip the southern clock fuckers the bird!
Well hang on a tick ask California voted to do away with daylight savings time and the fucking politicians did not enact the proposition. What the hell's going on with that?

Doesn’t it depend on a group to each ratify collectively before it kicks in?
Tomorrow is my least favorite day of the year. Even tax day comes out ahead in the ratings. I don't adjust well, never have.
When was that? I don’t remember that on a ballot. PS - fuk standard timeQuote:
