It worked for me once after the update. Now it crashes after about 30 seconds again. I can see the Snotel stations before it crashes, at least, so it's working better than it did before.
The one time it worked, I briefly had a chance to look at some of the functionality. I definitely may have missed it, but I didn't see any easy link to tabulated, hourly data for each site. This I think would be SUPER helpful. I always look at the tabulated data to see how much it snowed in the last 12/24/however many hours. I don't use Snotel data as much for current conditions, more for trends and recent history.
Downloaded to a samsung galaxy s2. Pretty cool other than always staying in africa if not using gps. Also no images /data for many of the bc points in the map. Otherwise pretty awesome

Downloaded it to an S3 running 4.1.2. Awesome app idea but it's not working for me. Crashes every time within 20sec. Right before it crahes though I do see all the snotel sites. Hopefully the bugs get worked out.
Just downloaded it an hour ago so I assume it was the latest version. Weird though, now it works, not crashing anymore.
Awesome. Working well on Galaxy S3 running cyanogen mod 10.1.2.
Any chance we could get a favorites list to save a couple stations?
Many of the points in BC don't have data. I am not sure if this is something that will change as the winter progresses. I only can find data for BC at the http://bcrfc.env.gov.bc.ca/ website. Is there a better site you all in Canada know about for water info? I'll update the app to start in NA rather than Africa.
downloaded it on my htc one mini running jelly bean 4.2.2. works great so far. favorites would make excellent.
Thanks for the NA update. working well. As for BC weather pillow data i will ask around and see what i can find and get back to you. I half wondered as well if it starts to increase with snow accumulation
here is some data for Alberta (sunshine village, etc.) http://environment.alberta.ca/apps/b...=10&DataType=4

Downloaded app onto Samsung Rugby LTE, using B.C location. No luck when pinpointing specific locations, ie Revelstoke. Notifies user that app is not working.
App works great. All sites load. Pics at each location load too. Thanks! Good stuff man.
Galaxy s3 running 4.1.2
Rolling great. Looking forward to checking out the totals tonight and tomorrow...
S3 4.1.2

Adding some new features to the next update hopefully this weekend.

Hey SnoTel lovers. I've updated the app a bit. You should get it auto-updated this evening. Let me know if you have comments for or issues with the app.
- Updated BC data. You now get actual data, not just a lame graph.
- Updated BC data to include only the AUTOMATED Snow Pillows. The manual data is very unreliable from what I am seeing.
- Updated the USA map to include markers based on Snow Depth. (Legend at bottom of screen / color based icons)
- Updated the USA Marker to include Snow Depth on marker click.
- Updated Settings to include Clustering (if you'd like) and set your default Map Zoom Level.
Thanks everyone for the ideas and sticking with me on this app.
P.S. Alberta folks! I'm working getting your data in there. It is not presented by the gov in a very easy to use format like BC is...
App has really come around and I can see myself using on a regular basis now. What happened to the satellite imagery option?
Features I am working on for the future:
- SnoTel Station ListView
- Favorites
- Showing Per State Only
I've been thinking of some kind of Temp / Snowfall Graph... Any ideas?
What would be "useful" is what i am working towards. Thanks all!
Something (table, graph, single line of text, etc) showing the change in snow depth or SWE in the past 12/24/48 hours would far and away be the most useful potential feature for me.
