At least Lindsey is still planning on racing which should occupy the cameras for a while.
She is an amazing skier. She just started competing in GS this year (on the WC) and places 6th and 2nd! Looking forward to seeing her compete in all 4 disciplines eventually.
She actually started entering GS races the first year competing in FIS. She worked a lot on it over the off season and we can see the results. You can see her steady improvement in GS last year. Those GS results are a big reason she finished 5th overall last year (only a 40 points behind Mancuso).Quote:

enjoyed watching your SL tonight. you will go far. Nice recovery. not to often you hear I was going to fast into that flush and had to recover. IE I was killing it so fast and the course switched to a flush where you gain speed and I kept it together to win GOLD.

Shiffrin in women's slalom and Ted in GS were the two most impressive alpine performances in Sochi IMO... but I missed the men's super-G (about to watch now).
Looks like she finished making the post Olympic publicity rounds and is back in Europe to finish out the WC season.
