Mathematics - I keep trying to figure out what I'm looking at in that one. Frozen lake? Tide flats?
It's Turnagain Arm about where it feeds into Cook Inlet. Frozen chunks of ice allover the place, some of the waters frozen where its shallow, deeper spots its not. That pointy little mountain to the right is Mt Redoubt.
I have another version with a linear horizon that I like a bit better...will have to see if I can find it tonight

Thanks! I've been seriously impressed with how well it'll stitch in-camera. Only complaint is that it outputs jpgs.

Something a little different. The NCAA swimming and diving championship meet was in the Seattle area this weekend, so I went down and watched. This is a panorama of the pool just before the start of finals on Saturday. The final heat of the 1650 free is set to start behind the blocks.
