i'll be skiing wednesday morning, probly Alta, maybe the bird. But thats it for my summit forays, unfortunately (if that even counts, i think maybe one other person will be around). I'm out for the count this weekend, going to a wedding in the adirondacks, which will be awesome, but i'm sorry i will miss the mini. buzz, do you have any stickers left from last year? never got one...

maybe i should really make the maggette ski day happen this year to make up for missing the mini.

have fun all, and boarderline. . . pffft. . . you dont need snow, get some ourdoor carpet or something. i expect reports of full on mayhem

As for Maggette Day: Do you think we should/could call Saturday official Maggette day? Is it most likely all the ladies will be there that day since it's a weekend day (presumably -- hopefully-- most would be off work)?

I'm still looking for a ride to the snow on Monday and Tuesday from near the U??? Don't care where I ride, so anyone live over that direction?

I would love to ski w/ Mrs. Commish! Tell her to give it a chance. If she doesn't like it then she has some ammo to get what she wants from you later on. Win-win situation for her either way (but she'll like it! ;) )

MID LEVEL FRONTAL ZONE JUST WEST OF BOISE AT 15Z BEST SEEN IN IR SAT IMAGERY. LATEST 12Z ETA SHOWS THIS FEATURE GENERATING LIGHT OROGRAPHIC SNOW SHOWERS TONIGHT AND THURSDAY. THE EMPHASIS IS ON LIGHT. TIME/HEIGHT FROM ETA AT SLC SHOWS CLOUD TOPS ONLY AROUND 11K MSL WITH VERY LIGHT FLOW AND WEAK LIFT. CURRENT FORECAST POPS AND QPF LOOK A TAD GENEROUS GIVEN LATEST 12Z ETA. WILL WAIT AND SEE THE GFS BEFORE MAKING ANY CHANGES TO FORECAST. INFLUX OF SHALLOW COLD AIR...THEN REBUILDING OF WARM RIDGE ALOFT LATER IN THE WEEK PUTS AREA BACK INTO MORE TYPICAL VALLEY INVERSIONS. Last minute PMGEAR update...

Assuming UPS doesn't fuck up, I'll be showing up at Alta Friday with a pair of Super Stiff Bros - just what the doctor ordered for the super-bulletproof conditions. They will have demo binders so people can borrow them for a run if so inclined. If you're at all interested in skiing the bad boys, be sure and hook up with me.*

I'll also have some stuff to be given out, including AJ Kitt gear bags, Arno Adam ski poles, KevGloves, and discount cards for purchases from the PMGEAR website.

*note - this is not an official demo (you know, the kind with all the associated liability and paperwork?). It's just one friend loaning skis to some other friends and said friends will assume all responsibility for their maiming, death and/or destruction resulting from skiing on these kickass monsters.

At the current time I am good, but the way plans have changed for this one in the past week (pretty much total rearrangement daily) I'll definitely keep your offer in mind. See you around Alta on Friday.

Looks like my plans have changed again. Now, I will be ski-sucking with Buzz. Well, not really sucking on skis, but I'll be sporting tele gear for the first time in 5 years. I will most assuredly be taking it easy.

Basin at 9 in the am and Alta on Friday, lifts turn at 9:15 and ticket avail at 8:45.
