oh; and I'd seriously consider giving one nut (doesn't matter which one I don't think) or some easier trade for a sox playoff ticket.
we should have a big maggot meet up at the Portland Brewfest Nov. 6.
yea, that's one more event I should be at that same weekend - been like 7 different things I should go to/be around for in those dates, but I'll definitely be in UT by then.Quote:

Sounds good. Send over a pm with your phone #. Looks like either Monday night or Tuesday night will work best.Quote:

let me know if its portsmouth, as I can drop by and buy some beers.
Hey - anyone happen to be driving from the Southern Maine area to Boston area tonite? I have a friend that could use a ride.
longshot, i know, but just thought i'd check.
Not to be too slow to drop in, but I'm in Portland as well... seems like a decent Maine contingent heah.
I say we get together Tuesday 10/5/04, around 5:30 - 6:00pm at Three Dollar Deweys on Commercial Street. Takers??????
Sox game starts at 4 on Tuesday, so that has to be worked into the plans. In other words I need to see it, so we either meet afterwards or during somewhere where we can watch it. :D
hmm.. lookin' like happy hour/sox time works for several people -Quote:

more sports bar alternatives in the old port would include Rivalries, not far from deweys - it's 2 cotton street - corner of fore & center? i think - by brian boru's - that's easy to find .
other pubs likely to have the game on -
grittys
bull feeneys (free wifi there - we can check into the board from my laptop:)

Tuesday happy hour sounds good though
1 vote for game time drinks in the old port. Probably a good idea to get there a little early so we can get some good TV viewing seats.
Who else is in?
I know there's more ME/NH maggots lurking about......
I'm in. Call the place.
I'm sorry I can't help us figure this out, but I just got hdtv so I'm entireley incapable of making decisions right now. I'm in for happy hour during the game. I won't be able to get there till 4:45ish.
Who could email me the plans if I pm them my address?
PM me - w/ your email and/or phone # - I'll also give you my cell.
It's looking like 4:45-5 at this point, haven't finalized a place yet, I (gasp) actually don't care about the game that much - I HATE watching baseball on TV - pretty much only sport I don't like on tv - well, that & curling:)
I'm in...as long as someone can give me a push on the way out, or I can find parking downhill. Yeah, I'm too lazy to change my starter, figure I can make it until thanksgiving.
And I cant believe you are hating on curling skiguide. I thought you were better than that. Pssh.
Its a shame we cant do this on a monday. Platinum in portland has a 3 dollar cover, and 25 cent draughts and 25 cent wings for the evening.
