I vaguely remember being at that one. No idea of what I thought of the show at the time but after listening to it now...damn fine '91 show. Thanks for a memory!
Hey Schwert, can I get that gear book back?
I have some reference Q's I need to look up!
Thanks for all those links guys. Theres enough to keep me busy for months (LOVE that archive site)
The only show I ever saw:http://archive.org/details/gd94-10-0...671.sbeok.shnf
Unfortunately, as I was in high school at the time, (and Jerry died less than a year later) it was the only show I ever saw. I didnt even really care for the Dead at the time, it was just something to do while experimenting with mind altering substances..
Cant get enough, now

This one is spinning on the GD Channel this morning. Been a while since I've heard it...before my time of seeing the band but it certainly lands as on of my favorites from across the pond.
Funny , been re-acquainting myself with the Eleven lately - Love this:

This whole show rocks, and Hard to Handle stands out. Jerry starts ramping things up at the 5min mark and is off the hook by the end. I've been looping it for about 20min now.

DSO last night 3/19/73 - keeping with the 73 groove I've been on lately.
That 73 PNE up there is just too nuts.

Unreal Scarlet-> Fire, especially Fire. this is my favorite second set opener, and this one has got to be up there with the best. The rest of show is solid also, it is nice to get a reminder that they still had it.
Listening to this one at work today. Nothin' special about the aud quality but for a late '94 show its pretty damn good. MSG usually brought good nights from the boys. I'm sure I am not alone here but rarely do I listen to shows post '93. There are a few gems in '93 but usually only bits and pieces after that. This one is worth a listen. Kinda sorry I missed it!
yeah, the audio quality got to me. the pne show fucking rips.
and i'm gonna sit right here until i die.....
a nice lazy little show with a relaxed santa barbara groove (no tweakers like in oakland) that gets cooking.... http://archive.org/details/gd1974-05...k.sbeok.flac16

DSO is playing 15 minutes from my place, Colonial Theater in Keene next week!

at half time JK came out and asked me how i liked the first set, i was throwing down hard during the Supplication Jam!
i havent seen the new lineup, but i'm hoping for a '76 show.
there is a real freshness during this year, it's got a happy feel to it.
this would work nicely.
