Yes, I just graduated to no cane, except outside where it is all snow and ice. Was able to do 20 minutes on the stationary.

My limb preservation doc said no ibuprofen after trying to repair broken tibia (multiple surgeries and bone wouldn't heal). Said evidence wasn't conclusive, but cutting out IB was worth trying - couldn't make it worse.
In armchair discussions, there was talk about the body's inflammatory response - and how it naturally heals injuries based on that - so ibuprofen might interfere with inflammation and subsequent healing.
I was talking a lot of ibuprofen for years. A decade probably. Every day before my run. or Ride. Or ski. Or bed.
I've been off it for about a year and honestly, I think it's helping. Doc said bone is 'clinically healed' now, so who knows?
Post ACL surgery I took all the hydro morphine and started on the tramadol but i couldn't handle it and made do with IBU, i try to stay off that stuff
