Haven't you noticed? Most of the guys wear those shark suits now. I love a good speedo (on a guy that has the right body) but those shark suits are pretty cool too.

I swim Masters at the University of Washington.

I must confess that I do wear a Speedo. I doubt anyone wears those 'shark' suits during practice. They're just for competition.

Biking has the worst clothing. Those garish colors and all the ads, what's that all about?

There's a Master's swim on Tuesdays & Thursdays at Helene Madison. When is the swim at the U?

Yeah - don't often see guys lap swim in the shark suits but once in a while..........yummy...........:cool:

M-F from 5:40-7:00 PM. We get in right after the UW team gets out.

I just checked the Helene Madison schedule and it looks like the pool is closed for maintenance until 2004! That must be some heavy-duty maintenance.

Um yeah - it's a great pool but it has been a while since it had a major overhaul. I went to HS there - spent three years in that pool (not to mention all the swimming I did prior to HS swim team).

Obviously I haven't been to the Masters swim in a while. Right now I hit the Northshore pool. Nowhere near as nice as HM (crappy lane lines) but it's closer to home and they have an evening lap swim.

Go to your local library, copy the Bode workout (pun intended I am sure) from the Sept/Oct/Nov issues. I am 3 late months on it though :rolleyes:

I swam all the way through college then was out of the water until last year. Swimming 3-4 times per week for an hour a day isn't going to get me back where I was swimming at a Big Ten university, but I'm doing pretty well. It keeps me in decent shape anyway.

I swam quite a bit in Colman pool in W. Seattle over the summer. The only other place I've swam around here is Evans Pool (Green Lake). It's too hot and too shallow!
