I posted earlier that these weren't jib flicks. Well, I finally got a copy of each today and watched both. While they aren't jib flicks, there is a lot of jibbing. Quite a lot of rails and tables to go with the pow skiing and cliff dropping. More cliff dropping than pow skiing.
All in all, both are decent flicks. They aren't MSP or TGR, but you're crazy if you expected anything close. They are both pretty cool, and worth $7 to see them and party with everyone.

My ankle is the size of my knee right now and I am going to the doc to get ex-rays on it after work. I don't think it is more than a bad sprain, but there is some serious pain going on.
Not going to make it, so it looks. :( :(
And I actually hurt something I'm going to shoot myself as I keep hurting myself for stupid reasons and should know better.

:rolleyes: Jumping on a trampoline at Twoplankers rockin party at 2 am after drinking, pulling back flips. Landed short and tweaked left ankle. The people at work say it looks dislocated but I can walk on it (slowly). If I twist I go down. It is super purple on the front of my foot.
I think it is just a sprain (I had reconstruction on this same ankle from Mtn. Biking in 97). I think I just pulled the daylight out of everything.
Sorry to all for the next thing I have to say: Looks like if I did do anything bad, I got a little time to heal. Again, sorry for that.

Damn. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that it's just a sprain. (I've had my foot damn near completely black and blue from sprains before, so hopefully that's it...)

Yeah, I've had my entire foot below my ankle with the exception of my toes black and blue from a soccer injure before. Turned out to be a really bad sprain. Nothing to do but ice and drugs.
That is what I'm thinking now. I have my foot up on my desk and icing right now and it is so much better. I dont want to spend money at a docs office for them to tell me that. I may wait a few days. I just do not know.Quote:

If you have insurance, go. Better safe than sorry, and you can get a prescription for pain meds, which you can give to me tomorrow night :)

I'm inclined to agree. Worth a copay for peace of mind and getting started healing up if there's anything that can be done.
...of course I would rarely take that advice myself. ;)

I have sprained this ankle about half a dozen times, so Im inclined to wait at least a few days to see if it contiunes to get better. I still have some loritabs from my knee, so I can always hit those if needed. Almost took one today, but I have 4 left so I think I'll get through. Now, if it does not get better in a few days, going to get another prescrip and a low cost exam.

I hope its not a high ankle sprain Buzz...that took from early May till Sept to totally heal. But, glad its not worse, you know, something that you'd have to have operated on, stay in the hospital and get sponge baths from hottie candystripers and nurses.
