Agree wholeheartedly.
Funny that he was so psyched especially comparing it to Shockey.
(who wasn't even on the sidelines but sitting in a luxury box drinking beers??)

The first half was horrible, but given the situation and the magnitude, that was one of the best 4th quarters I have seen in a Super Bowl. For 4th quarters, it ranks right up there with Montana's drive against the Bengals and the back & forth battle of the Broncos/Packers.
Seems to me it wasn't the Pats offense (read: Brady) that choked last night, but the D. When you have the lead with 1 minute to go and the opponents are on their own side of the field you should hold.
Unfortunately the old men were tired by then.
The biggest choke was Samuel (or was it Sander) not catching the overthrow on the sideline THAT HIT HIM IN HIS HANDS or having 1 on 1`coverage on Plaxico Burress inside the 20. Kinda hard to be the megastar QB when you're on your back all the time.
Maybe this will get a fair amount of bandwagon fans to jump off.
Longtime fans of the pats know how to shake off blown opportunities, even in the big game.
That was Tom Brady being Tom Brady last night. Welcome to what the rest of the league's QB's have to deal with- pressure. That's the first time all year your Precious had someone in his face- and how about that, he's human after all!
I guess I can understand all the excuses and whining from the Boston fans- it was the most disappointing loss in NFL history, after all. :fuckyou:
uhhh...all i really wanted to say is that I would choose to have sex with Giselle.

I thought it was classless on his part but maybe he thought they let the time tickoff. But at the very least he and the rest of the pats should have stayed on the sidelines to congratulate the Giants after the kneel down by Eli. Did Brady shake Eli's hand afterward? Last shot I saw of Brady was him walking off the field before the last second ticked off.

Yes. Will it matter? No Does he care? No Does it confirm all the stories posted by others that he it a true Fucktard/Asshat and is a sore loser? Yes

Its going to hurt even more when the NFL takes away their first SB championship for cheating against the Rams, and maybe others as well.
They did the whole hug and congrats thing before the kneel down. Belichick did much more than merely shake Coughlin's hand.
too bad for the Giants that the story today and tomorrow is more of how the Pats blew an undefeated season rather than the Giants winning a superbowl.
I beg to differ. The story today is how that was one of the greatest drives and plays in superbowl history. Absolutely insane play, on both sides.

I like the guy in the back right just going "noooooo!!"

That's okay, he's dumb when talking about snow and bikes too.
Jokes.
The people saying this game sucked must not like defense. I like defense, and I thought this game rocked.
Did you see how many passes were batted down?
How many times did Brady hit the ground?
In how many games this year were the Pats kept to less than 20 points?
How many 3rd downs have the Pats not converted this year?
And for offense:
They'll be showing highlights of that sac dodge and throw/catch till the end of time.
Been watching football for 20 years. Admittedly what makes a great game is in the eye of the beholder; for some it's a methodical destruction of one team by another (see '85 Bears), and for other its a more evenly matched, back-and-forth contest (that would be your '96 Packers). But in context, and that's what it's all about, this year's game was one for the ages.
And as for how crappy the Pats used to be, and how could someone possibly hate on them, I'll ask you one question. Through all those years the Pats sucked, and through all those lopsided losses, did anyone, ever, go for it on fourth down when they were already whipping your sorry asses by 20-odd points?
I thought not.
How crappy the Pat's used to be? Who gives a shit. They've been good for the better part of a decade and when you have an asshole and confirmed cheater for a coach and a cocky team it's nice to see them go down in flames especially when the media has anointed them as the greatest football team ever.
Oh and back and forth contest against the Packers? The Packers scored 17 unanswered points in the 2nd quarter and then never gave up the lead.
See you next year then son. Pats are still the best team in the league and they will be back (maybe not in the super bowl, who knows, but they will be be back strong).
You know it's true.
If you would restrict your comments to Curling, Lacrosse and Hockey, I might listen to you.
Otherwise, no.
I've still got a smile on my face......what a game - i knew it would happen the winter i moved out of NYC ;)
I was at a bar with like 90% pats fans and the whole game they were screaming and rowdy and slamming their fists on the bar......and then after the game the bar went silent and tabs were slowly paid.....god it was great to see them sulk out......
And on top of it, i woke up to a foot of the fresh stuff :D
pats lose in seattle next year.
not saying that's my prediction yet, but just the thought of it makes me happy.
:D
Rumor is that the NFL season opens next year with the Steelers and the Pats on Thursday night. Steelers are in deep shit.
This isn't college football. The best teams are determined by head to head competition, not on paper. The Pats may be remembered as the best team to ever lose the superbowl, which is awesome btw, but they will never be remembered as the best team in the 07-08 season. That would be the NY Football Giants.

the Pats blowing it is the bigger story and now thats happened, nobody really gives a shit about the superbowl.
Ok, so now the Giants and Patriots both have 3 SB trophies. Does that mean the Giants are a dynasty now too?
Funny how that dynasty stuff just went away.
