I hate this season so so so much. From years of mayhem working at ski areas over the holidays to struggling to pay for the implied obligations of being a part of a family or involved in friendships every damned year, to a loved one's suicide this time of year...christmas is always just a shitshow and it seems like nothing good comes of it. It's just a rich man's holiday.

mom - a new timing belt/water pump/tensioner etc etc for my civic, memory foam mattress pad, xmas dinner @ brown palace, boxers and shirts from old navy, and a gift certificate to old navy. i hinted home depot for her for next year ;) but i suppose paying for my humongous car repair gets her off the hook.
gf - dunno yet, feels like clothing of some sort, but my one allowed guess was for underarmor and apparently that was incorrect (waiting for gf to return to town so we can do presents).
doctor - 800mg ibuprofen, muscle relaxers, and the news that i will miss my second consecutive season as i need an MRI and possible surgery for what is most likely a herniated disc in my back. :cussing::cussing::cussing:
oh well.....the six days i got this season were six more than i got last season. at least the last one wasn't on WROD.
