I just spit my lunch on the keyboard, that was funny.Quote:
East skiing is wonderful and the diversity, culture and soul of the east is second to none.
I do feel your pain though guys, my home mountain isn't opening for Thanksgiving this year, in fact they're not opening until Dec.8. They sited that period as being a big money loser for the resort. If they would just run chair 1 and 7 and not open all the stupid lodges and restaurants that no locals go to anyway, then they could run the mountian with 4 lifties and 4 patrollers, how expensive is that? Guess I'll be travelling this turkey day.
Steve, you're a psychopath. You left Killington because you don't have any friends there.
I didn't change what you wrote, I merely added on "by 60%" to the statement "raised pass prices". That's an accurate number, btw. It doesn't change the content of what you wrote, nor does it have any negative material affect on your statements or yourself. I'm not going to change it, because not only are you gay, you're rude. Perhaps if you had asked nicely, I would have changed it. The fact that something so minor bothers you, and you're picking a fight over it, just goes even further to prove how whacked you really are.
I think you should be alot more concerned that I quoted your whining on 3 different message boards.....:fmicon:
Tough shit, buddy.
Oh yeah, I also added (mon-thus) to the part about Skyeship being closed, and (tues-weds) to the part about Pico being closed. Since Steve neglected to put that in his original post.....duh.
Killington: the Apocalypse
Most every time I've skied at Kmart I've felt that the end was near. Somehow I can't believe it could be worse. I just hope to god that the average Killington skier stays there or quits skiing.
No offense to the awesome people I've met there and the good days that I've had. I really do hate that place, though!
Did you know that I had more ski days AND more powder days than you last year....:fuckyou:
I get it. It's just not a big deal. And you don't know Steve - I do. He's just a whiny little bitch. I'm helping him to look less like a dumbass, by filling in the info he left out.
I'd prob be pretty angry if I had to ski Killington alll season as well :cussing:
Holy crap K-town is burning down!!!
Killington is like the local whore. Nobody talks good about it but they all did her at some point!
I loved Killington early and late season or when they had more snow then others. Sad to see it take a tumble...
Boycott the fucking place and ski elsewhere.
Next topic.
i have him on ignore, but you quoted douchenozzle claiming that he knows me.
i assure you, if he has ever met me, it was without my knowledge. and i'm pretty sure that he's never spent time with me.
i don't know why he thinks he knows me more than the average maggot knows me. in the last year, i've posted significantly more on tgr than on k-zone.
i think we made it pretty clear that he's misquoted me. let's let this die now.
-steve
And in other news, Brett is still a fucktard. Thanks for quoting him, guys, good to know my ignore list remains up to date.
Now let's get back to the east/west debate. (Llast year I had a conversation on a lift with a guy who had moved back from CO the previous year. When I told him the skiing must be a letdown, he replied, "Yeah, the skiing was great, but I couldn't take another year with all those assholes." I asked him if he knew who Blurred11's was, but I guess he was referring to other assholes.)
Killington...heh, no one fucking cares.
As was already stated, the only value in that place is that it sucks up all the fucking gapers and retards leaving more for the rest of us. Its the Seaside Heights of VT. Let that shithole rot, I'll be on the Red Chair. :D
wow, you guys really git wound up about some little zit of a mountain huh? Time to move to California where the skiin's good, the people friendly, the real estate inexpensive and the women...fuckin HOT!
Ski-off to be followed by:
Killington: The Apologypse.
In which neither participant apologizes - the resort does.
For existing.
My guess is this thread goes at least 4 pages
