Random bump- but I just looked on CU's website, and their health care plan does cover you thru winter break and the summer. However, if you get treatment off campus, you have a $200 deductible and 80/20 co-insurance after that.
Its not bad... but if you can get your treatments at the campus facility, then there's no out of pocket cost to you except for a $10 co-pay.
$10 co pay! Man, that's highway robbery! It used to be free then changed to $5 during my time there (2000-2003).
Seriously, you'd be nuts to not go with their plan.
The only thing I don't like is not being able to be treated there, since I live 20 minutes away- but you're right, it is a great plan for $145 a month.
