As good of a summary as you could get for March at Da' Ville.
If you are driving, bring a quiver. If not, bring a crud-buster.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. :D
Today was unrelentingly icy. Upper Sundance was the scene of multiple slide for lifes and there was no respite up high from the frozeness.
The only hope now is sun or snow.
Its predicted to warm up this weekend....fingers are crossed
pray for sun!
i actually would have ranked yesterday as the worst day. it was in the 50s, without ANY freeze the prior night (even @ 9,000'). it was super-sloppy on the hill... then thunder closed (due to high winds), which sent everyone down GV.
i'm pretty much the guy who makes the best out of any situation on the hill -- but i took one gondi ride and got the hell out of there.
today was definitely firm in spots, but the snow was fast (i had to pole going DOWNHILL yesterday) and edgeable.
i did see a ton of people doing butt-slides.
not worth it for a full day, but it's always nice to make at least a couple laps.
I'm suppose to be heading out to Jackson on Tuesday and stay until Sunday...weather forecast doesn't look promising.
Are the conditions worth skiing or should I cancel? I have until the end of day today to decide. Thanks.
The village is getting real thin...I hope the lower slopes make it!
The skiing is actually pretty good, just venture off trail carefully.
Snow and rain in the forecast!
We'll see what happens!!!
