aw man. as much as i love downtown, its so hard for me to get there. can't we do something near Grand Central? i'm up here in yonkers, ya know. nice apartment, shitty town.

stuck, if we met at soho park, it would be ridiculously easy for you to get there... just transfer at GC to the 6 and get off at Spring St. It's like 2 blocks off the subway.

edited to add that i loath to drink above 14th street yet routinely drag myself to throw some back with mags :D

Get off Metro North walk across GCT towards 42nd St- entrance to Subway is on your left. Take the 6 train downtown to Spring St (about 15-20 minutes), be in the rear/middle cars, go up the stairs then go 1/2 block uptown, stop in my shop and I'll help you out with the directions from there. I get off a few minutes after 7.

Yep, that I was. Got out on the 1st evac helo carrying civilians to Cyprus on July 16 (no boat for me, haha). I remember posting about it the 1st nite just before they hit South Beirut ( = shit hit the fan) and then had spotty access at best so I didn't get to keep posting. Anyhow, I did some traveling after that and have a (teaser) sweet pic of me + SkiDubai + my FKNA tshirt that I need to post, just been lazy about it.
I have some buddies in Achrafiyeh (Christian neighborhood north of the Green Line) that were spared much of the unpleasantness heaped upon south Beirut. Hope her fam are all safe and sound.

And being in the 'Broken, I'm gonna have to vote for downtown, but midtown is OK too I guess

yeah good point. forgot about the lex. can we do this on the 14th and i'll meet someone on the subway around 9-10 oclock, depending when i get off work?
EDIT: and my mom lives off lex (hit's head on wall) i hate the suburbs!
