I only accept as truths such phenomena that by accepting them makes a difference in my day to day living. Whether man has been to the moon is beyond my ability to verify, and has no impact on my life whatsoever. Hence, I consider the statement that man has walked the moon as untrue.

I got into a crazy arguement with my mother in law about this one day. What bugs me is the idea that anyone would want to fake going to the moon. The moon sucks, there is nothing there. So why would we want to fake going there?
It's like telling your friends you hooked up with a fattie. If you did, live up to it, but if you didn't, why would you fake that you did?
And also, aren't these people that say the moon landing was fake the same people that tell us the pyramids were put here by aliens, and that the Locness monster is real? Can't we start getting rid of some of these people?
