Yeah, a couple of clips from the Peak 3 epic. Took us almost 4 hours to get from Tenmile Peak to Peak 4. It was a bitch to say the least. Fun climbing though.Quote:

I'm glad I carried my lightweight setup for our little hike last Fri - it's a long time since I've been that tired. I guess getting up at midnight for a 2.30 a.m. start does that to you :rolleyes2
Re: 1.46 - No crampons (yes, would have been nice...), but we each had an ice axe.
Nice editing, Dave!
I thought I was missing something when Trackhead mentioned you were on Dynafits in the Dragontail TR, but apparently you've jumped ship as well. Curious about your impressions now that you have some mileage on them.
This is freakin hillarious, because it is so true. Rocks in the backpack.......now that's idea.Quote:

I’m a sucker for vids with song lyrics that match the footage. Tool rocks and this song is fun to edit ski footy to. I used it in 2003…I should go did that thing up.
Thanks again for the stoke, some great clips in there! :yourock:
Ps. You shoulda used the whole 9 minutes! :fmicon:
Lateralus
Black then white are all i see in my infancy.
red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.
lets me see.
as below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn beyond the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.
Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must
Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines.
Black then white are all i see in my infancy.
red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.
lets me see there is so much more and
beckons me to look thru to these infinite possibilities.
as below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.
over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.
Withering my intuition leaving opportunities behind.
Feed my will to feel this moment urging me to cross the line.
Reaching out to embrace the random.
Reaching out to embrace whatever may come.
I embrace my desire to
I embrace my desire to
feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow
to feel inspired to fathom the power, to witness the beauty,
to bathe in the fountain,
to swing on the spiral
to swing on the spiral
to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human.
With my feet upon the ground I move myeslf between the sounds and open wide to suck it in.
I feel it move across my skin.
I'm reaching up and reaching out. I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me.
what ever will bewilder me.
And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been.
We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.
Spiral out. Keep going.
Spiral out. Keep going.
Spiral out. Keep going.
Spiral out. Keep going.
Spiral out. Keep going
If you can find that vid, I wouldn't mind checking it out. You're right, this song does go well, especially the last two verses. Good stuff. I definitely had enough footage for the whole 9 minutes, but the size of the file would have been huge.Quote:
