Nice work. Always look at the various peaks along the range on the way to the Basin or Vail, or wherever. Good attempt Guys, I'm sure you'll get it done - starting earlier and with the days getting longer, you'll tick it off I'm sure.

Yes, sometimes failure is a good thing. Makes you more focused, hungrier, and committed to a goal.

After getting up on that ridge and getting a good feel for the terrain, I'm confident we'll get the whole traverse next time out. An earlier start, a good pace, and some rock pro will get us through for sure.

Homer, you are more than welcome to come along. I'll give you a heads up next time I plan on going for it.

Thanks to everyone else for the props and support. This season has been a good one, but also one of frustration with many missed opportunities and failed attempts.

Huh? Don't seem to recall that, although I can't even remember what I had for lunch. I think you are mixing me up with someone else, like Mountain Freak or something (although I'll still take you up on the Crestone offer. Love those mountains). Anyway, had my knee scoped a couple weeks ago, so I'm out of action for the time being.

Nice TR guys! Fritz, I know what it's like to have iskibc 20 minutes ahead of you! He's just crazy fast in that difficult boot-packing stuff. It sure does make you humble, but then it makes you just want to get out more and do it again. We are all masochists aren't we :)

Good job guys, and it's nice that it was all made worth it by some excellent turns!
