Another former long guylander(East Meadow again), Mainer here, also lived on the north shore (of Boston, Salem)and now out west. That list brought back lots of (bad?) memories, Haven't been back there in a few years, but it's gotten worse since I've moved. Traffic on the Southern state was bad all day long (not just 4 hour rush hours anymore),and I'd forgotten how to drive there(tailgating,speeding, what stop signs?). Just found out my parents are moving back there so I'll have to go back to visit them.

Amy Fisher used to hang around my shop in South Merrick, Joey Buttafucco was a customer of mine(allways heard MaryJo yelling at him over the sound of thier boat).
No more Roy Rodgers? I met him when I was a kid at the one by Hofstra.
Don't know about the Suffolk co. exec., But Tom Gullotta was also a customer, and I have lots of good stories.
Sledding in the sumps, We used the Parkways, or the big mountains of Bethpage State park(much better at night with sufficent alchahol and safety supplies.
