Perfect. Makes for a great base, and avoids the density inversion. But it looks like it will blow around plenty, making for conservative travel tomorrow.Quote:

You're answering to gramps now? Well, you'll really feel like an old man once I get some dynafits underfoot. :biggrin:Quote:

Pffft, is that a promise? It would be nice for you to break trail once and a while, so I'll take you up on it.Quote:

I thought all you guys charged too hard to use Dynafits.
How early you leaving TH?
I need to get back for work, but if you're dawn patrolling I'd be psyched to do a quick loop.
Eh, losing 5 lbs underfoot but being labeled a sissy rando skier... (But having similiar boots and skis w/ the exact same dimensions as my current setup) I don't know, tough decision. Don't worry, you can break trail tomorrow, you've got show up the MDs anyway. :DQuote:

Gramps, taking over the shit slinging for Xover.
Seeing as he hasn't checked into this thread, if Kendall's going up for dawn patrol, could you e-mail me his phone# ? (or send him mine)? Thanks.
8 am? 50/50 I'll see you there. but TG's is looking pretty sweet! 16" at the lake! You know what that means over at Cornice!
TH, you going to the avy meeting tomorrow evening?
RB...Tony Grove and Monte are not equal comparisons:p Two totally different climatic regions. Weatherman..sheesh.
Stoy; all I said was that they both got 14" of snow... :) Besides, anything north of the Davis/Weber county line is all the same, right? ;)
Updates:
Brighton @ 9800; now up to 14"
Alta Collins is now at 12"
Snowbird is now at 12" - with 2" of water in that!
Oh, and I forgot to mention:

BRING IT!!!
Add Brighton to the list. I just got word that Brighton will be opening on Saturday...gonna have to haul ass up there to get my pass.
Today was pretty sweet, skied up and around alta, they even ran a lift towards the end of the day, but it was only to train lifties how to evacuate the lift (shit day to be stuck on a lift). Tomarrow should be real nice.
On other note, my roommate, who is a liftie at the canyons, was called by his boss last night telling him that there was a foot of new at mid-mountain and that he starts tomarrow because they are opening this weekend, could only mean good things for the rest of the resorts in utah.
Nah, Xover has decide to bring the smack inter-state now...Quote:

We'll roll out the welcome mat if/when he ever makes it up here (but no Dan's Donuts so I'm not sure where he'll get his energy from to do bell-bell days). We'll also glady deliver a beating on your behalf;)Quote:

Regardless, great news for utards.
TH, Gramps, Stump, etc...we'll see yall on the way down the canyon after we've lapped up all the pow. I haven't heard from powstash though which probably means he couldn't find all his touring gear in his remodeling mess. It's 8:45...time for bed to make that nasty 4a.m. alarm clock...bwahahaha!
