Not exactly a pow ski, but Black Crows Solis could fit if you're ok with a narrower waist.
126/100/108 in the 180 length. Tapered, low/long rocker, touch of camber, pintail (per the =< 10mm definition)

Surely the Revolt 114 must fit into this. Not the most tip taper but still
Lotus 120 is definatley a pintail, does Marshal make a nything like that ?
GPO is a good call out, own an UL build and tour on it!! Makes easy work of funk.

Revolt 114 was my first thought. Billy Goats and GPO’s too.
Both a pin-tail and a kick-ass ski.
But quite a bit different from an s7.
DPS Wailer 112 + derivatives would be quite close to an s7
(despite not adhering to the waist to tail ratio)
Edit to add: New DPS Lotus 117 looks like it fits the bill…. And that bill is quite large at $1,700!
I skied 5 (maybe 6) iterations of the Lotus 120 back in the day and they were all great.
The Lhasa Fat is even better.
~90%-95% as good in the pure pow; muuuch better everywhere else.
How about $549 for this version?

I hear you. This is why I still have my Icelantic Keepers. Stiff, pin-tailed, <20 sidecut, rockered tip & tail with a smidge of camber. One of those skis I just gelled with immediately.
Prob not what looking for exactly as there really isn’t any tail rocker, but the Icelantic Shaman 2.0 one ten is a pintail.
Volkl Revolt for sure, but they are stiff. Great ski though. A bit much in the trees but a riot in an alpine bowl or over cliffs
What about the Hoji and Renegade?
Lhasa Pow Fat is definitely the ski if you can find one. Love mine. Unsinkable tips rule

Yup. Having a hard time tracking the right ski down. To be clear I pretty much just want a new ski like the original s7s.
About 115mm underfoot
A decently pinned tail
The ability to mountain it from center to factory (~-8cm from center)
A tight turn radius.
Regular sidecut that works on groomers. The s7 did this.
Early taper in the tips
Camber underfoot
Rockered tips
I think my only wishses for the original s7 was a lil less rocker, and for the ski to be a lil more stiffer in the trip and tail.
The Billygoat is sooo close to a improoved s7, but compromises to much with the reverse elliptical sidecut on the front of the ski. If that ski has regular sidecut, and an ensuring ~15 meter turn radius it would be the dream.
Dps kaizon 112 or whatver is crazy far back on the mount point, and has insane amounts of rocker. Truly a gaper pow ski for super wealthy people in my opinion.
15m radius is crazy man, you sure you want that?
Nope. Lol it turns out its 17.5 meters.
Sent via DM too, but IMO the Line Pescado is right in there with rocker profile, carvy nature, surfy ride, 13-14mm pintail, etc. I have only skied it in the BC with little boots, so can't say if it has another gear than the S7, but might be work a look at least, if it isn't on your radar already.
Thanks Marshall and Muggy Dude.
Cant wait to see the next heritage and in the meantime ill try to track down some pow fats!!
Are you looking to replace a S7 or a Super7?
And what generation? Pre-honeycomb?
I’m pretty sure that voile designed the vEight both in sidecut and taper around the og sSeven. It’s not as rockered and way lighter but when it came out I seem to remember that Voile came out and said they basically copied the sSeven and made it into a touring ski.

So I notice the turning radius of the Lotus is HUGE compared to some of these last skis named, so why is that ?
I agree with the posts above that the Praxis GPO should be considered. I'm amazed at how well it skis firm snow for its size. I also had the BG and it did not get along with me.
A couple people dmed me and pointed out the praxis skis have some similarities but prolly are going to perform way different than the s7. Super stoked for a 2026 product HL is putting out that sounds like a highly refined version of the s7 but maybe more like the squad 7.
