Anyways, on the deepest days you would be able to ski from the top of Tower Mountain down to your car at the Steven's Creek Trail Head. Usually, you would just ski down to the sign in the clearing before hiking out. If conditions are poor then there still should be skiing up top for most of the season. There is definitely significant avalanche hazard, and safe backcountry travel skills and equipment are necessary. Please also realize that the Iller Creek Trail Head of the Dishman Hills Conservancy can also access this area, but it is a much longer hike and Iller Creek is not suitable for skiing (although it has incredible mountain biking). In some of the photos if you look East you can see Mica Peak, which is a separate Conservation Area and geographic feature. Mica Peak sits directly South of Liberty Lake, where there is a wonderful campground. Yes there is skiing on Mica Peak, but that would be a whole separate free skiing area. :eek:

These photos should help you understand the terrain on Eagle Peak from the Phillip's Creek Trailhead (Eastern Side) better. I took these photos yesterday while hiking from the Dishman Hills Iller Creek Trailhead (that leads up to the Rocks of Sharon from the Northern side). The rise you see straight ahead is Eagle Peak. The clearings you see on it lead down to Phillip's Creek. If it is clear enough to ski then it is clear enough to slide, so remember to bring your beeping partner when you visit in the Winter.:)
