I think it’s the other way around but both are awesome.

I'd agree, the 120 is maybe my all-time favorite ski.
The 110 is just more game-on. So if it's sunny and dense, then it's a sports car. But anything weird about the weather or the snow and the 120 is it.
I'd say at this point the 120 is my daily driver, and the 110 is the specialty ski.
Weds I went out with a little bit of new snow and bad vis. 110s were maybe sure I was getting beat up, until the sun came out and I could see what the snow surface looked like. Then it was a dream.
Thurs was shitty vis and just a tiny bit more snow. 120s kept it real.
I think that what he is saying is that the 100 floats above its paygrade and the 120 carves exceptionally well for a fat ski. I've ridden the 100 on a 2' day, I was traveling and it was the ski I had. It was a bit of work, but they got the job done. I've also done park laps and ripped groomers on the 120 after the soft snow was tracked out. It's not my first choice for harder snow, but anything softer than ice is plenty skiable on the 120.
Neither are my all time favorite skis, but I appreciate their versatility. I could probably quiver kill with a 110 and be mostly happy everyday.
Was looking at the 172 Bent 110 as a potential pow ski for my 120-lb, 5’ 6” teen in Western Washington. After reading this thread, I’m thinking maybe not. Want something easy and loose.
I’ve demoed the 100 and 110. I also own the 120 and the 104 as well as the 112 deathwish.
there is no comparison. The 100-110 are both soft noodles compared to the DW line. The 100 for me personally is hot trash. Too soft and has zero back bone. Gets pushed all over the mountain.
the 110 had more back bone and was much for fun than the 100.
the deathwish is stiffer than all of them, has far more back bone and out performs the 100-110 in every condition.
the biggest thing with the dw line in general is the versatility in all conditions. It will ski everything without issues where as the 100-110 just done perform as well in as many conditions.
if you wanted something soft then the bents are for you.
if you want something with back bone than the DW is the way to go.
for reference both my 104 and 112 are 184. I prefer the 104 over the 112.

Any additional thoughts on this ski for lighter skiers ? Good prices right now on this, looking to pick up dedicated soft snow pow skis for the two kids. 5,4 5,6 both about 110 lbs. Thinking 164 & 172 as the consensus seems the near center mount skis quite short
these are on sale on evo right now for a good price.. need something for my 110ish ski this year and these pull interest.
